About the Position
This is a great opportunity to start a new career in Youth Work. It is a School Based Traineeship, Ideally for someone who would be interested in increasing their hours once finished their schooling. We want to hire young Indiginous individuals to help mentor our youth program as Peer Support Workers. Working within the community services sector you can make a real difference in an individual's quality of life.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who is able to show that they have willingness to learn, sound communication skills, and a compassionate approach, a positive can do attitude and enthusiasm to work within the Youth Support sector.

Criteria

It is an essential occupational requirement that this position is filled by an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person:
Have the ability to write reports and assessments Has attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication;
Committed to the study component of the Traineeship;
Hold a current Drivers Licence (preferred but not essential);
All applicants must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to undergo a criminal history check.
